Turn-by-turn navigation without typing the address
Drivers see the next job with address, customer request and special notes. One tap on 'Navigate' opens Google Maps or Apple Maps with the pre-filled route — no manual typing, no copying. If the driver has multiple jobs simultaneously, the app calculates the optimal order and starts multi-stop navigation in one step.
Photo proof and signature capture on delivery
After delivery the driver chooses: 'Get signature' (recipient signs with their finger on the screen) or 'Take deposit photo' (photo of the item left). Both proof types are saved with GPS coordinates and timestamp. Instant notification to dispatch: 'Job #123 delivered, proof available.' Archive for 90 days, exportable as PDF.
Status stepper: picked up, en route, delivered
Each job runs through clearly defined status steps: accept job, confirm pickup (scan QR code at pickup station), en route, delivered. Every status change sends a real-time notification to dispatch and optionally to the customer. The full status history is visible in the job profile — invaluable for handling complaints.
Return module for failed deliveries
Guest not home, broken doorbell, wrong address — the driver marks the job as 'not delivered' with a reason (no recipient, address unknown, refused). The system notifies dispatch and optionally triggers an automatic customer call or SMS. Return jobs are colour-coded in the dashboard for immediate follow-up.
Offline mode for dead zones and underground car parks
No signal in a lift, in a basement, in an industrial estate? The app saves status changes, photos and signatures locally and syncs them automatically when connection is restored. The driver barely notices — the workflow continues normally. Offline-supported: accept job, change status, take photo. Not supported offline: receive new jobs.

What devices does the driver app run on?
iOS from iPhone 12 (iOS 16+) and Android from Android 10. Recommended hardware for drivers: an affordable entry-level Android device from €150 is sufficient, as the app is resource-efficient.
Can drivers see multiple jobs simultaneously?
Yes. The app shows all currently assigned jobs as a list. For multi-stop routing the app calculates the optimal order and navigates stop by stop. Drivers can adjust the order manually.
How do new jobs reach the app?
Jobs arrive as push notifications to the driver. They accept with a tap. If they don't respond, dispatch can manually assign the job or the next available driver gets it automatically.
