Segmented push campaigns
Push notifications have an average open rate of 60–90% — significantly higher than email (22%) or organic social media (2–5%). You send messages to all app users or to specific segments: customers who have not ordered in the last 30 days (reactivation), customers with more than 10 orders (VIP promotion), customers in a specific delivery area (local promotion). Segmentation happens directly from your order data — no separate CRM software needed.
Voucher types for every occasion
GastroSystem supports four voucher types: percentage discount (e.g. 15% off the total order), fixed discount amount (e.g. €5 off orders over €25), free delivery (ideal for acquiring new customers), and product voucher (one free dish on the next order). For each voucher you configure: validity period, maximum total redemptions, maximum redemptions per customer and an optional minimum order value. Redemption happens automatically at checkout — no manual effort on your part.
Automated birthday mailer
Customers who provide their date of birth on registration automatically receive a personalised push notification on their birthday with a voucher: '🎂 Today is your day — 10% off your next order.' You configure the voucher once. The system sends automatically, without further action. Birthday campaigns typically achieve redemption rates of 25–40% — the highest of all voucher types.
New-customer promotions and welcome flows
Configure an automatic welcome voucher sent on the first app download: '10% off your first order.' Combined with the loyalty programme (stamp card visible from the 1st order), this creates an onboarding flow that motivates new customers to their second and third order — fully automated.
QR code marketing for offline channels
Create QR codes in the dashboard with optional voucher inclusion: QR codes on flyers lead to your app and automatically apply a discount. QR codes on packaging ('Next order: 5% with code PACK') generate repeat purchases. QR codes for table stands in your venue enable QR ordering with directly integrated upsell.
Announcements directly in the app
Holiday opening hours, new dishes, renovation notices, event announcements — as an announcement directly in your app, visible on the start screen of your ordering app. Customers who open your app see the message without you planning an SMS or social media post.

Do I need an external newsletter tool?
No. Push notifications, vouchers and announcements are directly integrated in GastroSystem. For email specifically there is the optional birthday mailer feature — this also requires no external tool.
Can I send push notifications to specific customer groups?
Yes. You segment by: all customers, recently active customers, VIP customers (by order count), customers in a delivery zone. Segments are formed directly from your order data — no manual list maintenance.
What voucher types are available?
