A loyalty programme with bonus points turns occasional buyers into regulars: every euro counts, every milestone triggers a push, every redemption brings the guest back. GastroSystem builds this into your ordering system — without third-party providers, without a separate app.
A digital loyalty programme rewards customers for repeat purchases with points that can be redeemed for discounts or free products. Unlike stamp cards, a points programme offers more flexibility: customers decide when to redeem and can accumulate points.
Points earning: ratio and special promotions
Configure the points earning rate: e.g. 1 point per €1 order value. Promotional multipliers increase order frequency: double points on Tuesdays, 3x points on new dishes, 5x points on a birthday. Special products can be excluded from points earning (e.g. alcohol or very low-margin items).
Tier system: bronze, silver, gold
Define tiers by cumulative points or order count: bronze (0–199 points), silver (200–499 points), gold (500+ points). Each tier offers its own benefits: bronze = welcome voucher, silver = 5% ongoing discount, gold = free delivery + priority handling. Guests see their tier status in the app and the gap to the next tier.
Automatic push triggers on milestones
Push notifications are triggered automatically: 'You've reached 100 points — claim €5 off now' or 'Only 20 points to gold tier'. Timing is configurable: immediately on reaching the milestone, or as a reminder at 18:00 that evening. The redemption process runs directly in the next order — the discount appears automatically in the basket.
Redemption mechanics and minimum hold
Define the redemption rate: 100 points = €5 off. Guests choose at checkout whether and how many points to redeem. Minimum redemption points prevent overly small redemptions (e.g. minimum 50 points). Maximum redemption per order optionally capped (e.g. max. €10 discount per order).
Analytics: who redeems, when and how much?
The dashboard shows: points earned per day/week/month, redemption rate, average points per customer, number of active tier members. If the redemption rate is low, the threshold may be too high. If the redemption rate is high, check the margin: are you giving more discount than planned?

Common questions about the loyalty programme
Can customers collect points at multiple locations?
Yes. For multi-location operations the points account is cross-location — customers collect at branch A and redeem at branch B. Configurable: whether points earning is location-specific or central.
Can I run a loyalty programme alongside a stamp card?
Yes. Stamp card and loyalty programme can run in parallel. A guest simultaneously collects stamps for a free pizza and points for gold status. Both are visible in the app.
Do points expire?
Configurable. You can set points to expire automatically after 6 or 12 months of inactivity — with an advance push notification ('Your 80 points expire in 14 days'). This effectively reactivates inactive customers.
